At Redeemer Lutheran, each day is shaped by structure and time in God’s Word. Students participate in daily devotions and prayer, attend weekly chapel, and engage with Scripture as part of their learning. Students move from learning to read to reading for understanding across subjects. Through guided practice and discussion, they learn to explain what they read and apply it. By third grade, students are reading independently and engaging with a range of texts.
Clear and Structured Writers
Students learn to organize their thoughts and communicate clearly in writing. With regular practice in grammar and sentence structure, they develop from simple responses to more complete and organized written work.
Strong Mathematical Thinkers
Students build number sense and solve problems step by step. Teachers guide them in using learned methods and applying math to real-world situations, helping them explain how they reached an answer.
Growth in Faith and Responsibility
Students spend time in Scripture, prayer, and weekly chapel, learning what God’s Word teaches and how it shapes their lives. They practice respect, responsibility, and forgiveness in daily interactions, building habits that reflect their faith.
