A solid Christian foundation is something that stays with a child forever.

At Redeemer Lutheran School, we partner with families to build that foundation. Students spend time in God’s Word through daily devotions, prayer, Scripture, and instruction, and those moments shape how they learn, think, and relate to others.

Daily Devotions and Prayer

Each day begins with the Pledge of Allegiance, an invocation, and prayer. Throughout the day, students spend time in Scripture and daily devotions, building habits that keep God’s Word woven into everyday life. The school day also closes in prayer, both in the classroom and together as a school community.

Weekly Chapel

Students gather weekly for chapel, led by the pastor. Chapel includes Scripture, singing, a message, and prayer. Students take part in reading Scripture, serving as acolytes, and helping lead different parts of the service.

Religion and Catechism Instruction

Students receive daily religion instruction that deepens their understanding of Scripture and their relationship with God. In middle school, catechism instruction helps students learn more about church history and apologetics while gaining a deeper understanding of what they believe and why it matters.

Faith Across Learning

In every subject, teachers help students connect what they are learning to a biblical understanding of the world. Students are encouraged to ask questions, think carefully, and consider how their learning relates to what they believe.

Service and Giving

Students put their faith into practice by serving others. They support Christian organizations through chapel offerings and take part in projects such as a cereal drive for local food banks. Middle school students also serve throughout the year, completing additional projects in the community.

Faith Lived in Community

Spiritual formation is reinforced through daily relationships. Students learn from teachers who model their faith and guide them in how to live it out in their interactions with others. They are reminded that they are children of God and are encouraged to reflect that identity in how they treat others.

Chapel families connect students across grade levels, giving older students opportunities to lead and younger students a chance to learn alongside them.
